[Open to Nancy reading her old Valentines at the table]

[Katie Frasier’s voice is hear reading an Emily Dickenson poem]

then thee. If ever wife was happy in a man, compare with me, ye women, if you can!

KATIE FRASIER AND SIMON FRASIER

[Katie and Simon are reading Conversational hearts candy]

>> Simon: You rule! Yeah!
>> Katie: Yeah! Thank you. So do you.
>> Simon: "Always be mine."
[Both "Awing".]
>> Katie: So sweet!
>> Simon: You're amazing, it's like these conversational hearts are psychic. This one,
too. Oh, what do we have here? The all too rare double heart.
>> Katie: How odd.
>> Simon: And it says-"Simon Fraiser is absolutely crazy for his wacky wife, Katie."
>> Katie: How on earth did they fit all that on there?
>> Simon: I don't know. It's amazing.
>> Katie: Do you ever wonder what would have happened if you never came to
rescue me from that island?
>> Simon: That's an absolutely crazy question. I mean, you're the one who said from
the beginning that we always belonged together.
>> Katie: I know, but if you didn't get on that plane, and you didn't come to rescue
me -
>> Simon: Well, we would have found each other, wouldn't we?

[Simon and Katie are fantasizing]

[Simon is playing the guitar at Java Underground]
>> Woman: That was beautiful. Maybe we can go someplace a little more –private -
when you finish here?
>> Simon: I'm flattered, but I really can't.
[Katie enters]
>> Reporter: Ms. Peretti, a comment for your fans?
>> Photographer: Ms. Peretti, look this way. Ms. Peretti?
>> Dahlia: No, no, no. No photos, boys. And no comment about the seven-figure
deal.
>> Reporter: Seven-figure deal?
>> Katie: Yes, for the movie rights to my best-selling autobiography detailing my
daring escape from a desert island.
>> Dahlia: And her subsequent rise to fame.
>> Katie: Okay, no more, boys. You know how tiring these worldwide press junkets
can be.
[Romantic music plays.]
>> Simon: Katie, it really is you.
>> Katie: Simon?
>> Simon: You remembered.
>> Katie: Of course. You were my husband at one time. Although not much of a
marriage, I'm sad to say.
>> Simon: You're right. I was rotten. I should have dropped everything and scoured
the Atlantic searching for you.
>> Katie: Why didn't you?
>> Simon: I was stupid. You were right all along. We belong together, Katie. I miss
you so much. And I love you, I love you more than I have loved anyone.
>> Dahlia: You're kidding, right? This woman is a major star. She has more
important things to do than waste her time with some Australian boy toy. Now Miss
Katie, come with me.
>> Simon: Don't. Stay, stay. Please, stay. I can make it up to you, Katie. I can
make you love me again.
[They kiss]

Scene: Craig Montgomery’s Bedroom

[Craig is looking at a picture of Carly and drinking a martini]
>> Craig: Here's looking at you, kid.

[Craig fantasizing in black and white old time movie style]

>> Craig: Morning, monkey face. Breakfast in bed?
>> Carly: With a man-sized portion of Eggs Benedict - or shall I say, Benedict
Arnold! [Carly dumps the tray into his lap] [Craig screams.] Tell me, darling, does
the shoe fit?
>> Craig: And what has yours truly done to deserve such apprehension?
>> Carly: As if you don't know. You've been a perfect ass, Montgomery!
>> Craig: Well, we all achieve perfection in some arena.
>> Carly: You are a first-class, Grade-A stinker, you know that?
>> Craig: Why, I have half a mind to take you over my knee.
>> Carly: Darling, you haven't that much mind to spare!
>> Craig: Come here.
>> Carly: Hey! Get your mitts off me, you big palooka! You have a lot of nerve
trying to maul me with that boozehound's cheap perfume stinking up the place.
>> Craig: Where are you going?
>> Carly: To crack a window.
>> Craig: She's jealous. Daddy likes that.
>> Carly: You do, do you?
>> Craig: It means you like me. Very appealing in a dame. But I'll tell you what
daddy doesn't like?
>> Carly: Do tell.
>> Craig: You drive me to drink making goo-goo eyes at that gloomy gumshoe.
>> Carly: You mean my ever-lovin' G-man? Trust me, handsome, I wouldn't give
him a second glance if you hadn't spent the night with that widow with the large
endowment.
>> Craig: And she says she's not jealous.
>> Carly: Watching you grovel for a woman so obviously beneath you? Don't make
me laugh.
>> Craig: Well, beneath me, yeah. But did you catch a gander at the size of that
endowment? [Carly picks up a vase of roses and is about to dump it on Craig but he
stops her] Oh, come on, sugar lips, you don't want to do that. Huh? Come on,
cookie. We're a team. You're my girl. I'm your guy, your dreamboat, your reason
for purring. Admit it.
>> Carly: I am fond of you, Montgomery -
>> Craig: Mm-hmm.
>> Carly: -- From time to time. I think they call it temporary insanity.
>> Craig: What temporary? You're brazen, unpredictable, unfathomable and totally
irresistible. And heaven help the fool who tries to tame you. But I'm dizzy for you,
doll face. I mean it. You're pure platinum, pussycat.
>> Carly: Gee, baby. It does sound like you mean it.
>> Craig: Hello, you.
>> Carly: Hello, you. You see something you like?
>> Craig: The whole gift-wrapped package. Come on, Cannoli, what do you say?
Am I forgiven?
>> Carly: Do you have to ask?
>> Craig: What a girl. How's about a kiss?
>> Carly: Sure thing. [Carly squeezes and orange half on his face] I know how much
you love fresh-squeezed. But heck, you're lucky that's the only thing that got the life
squeezed out of it.
>> Craig: Oh, baby. What a blonde! Yowzah!

JACK SNYDER ALONE

Michael Park singing (onscreen):

[As Jack is singing, he is remembering flashbacks of his life with Carly]

If I could save time in a bottle the first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day till eternity passes away just to spend them with you
If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then again I would spend them with you.
But there never seems to be enough time to do the things you want to do once you
find them.
I've looked around enough to know that you're the one I wanna go through time with.
[Jack places a candle in the window]

ABIGAIL WILLIAMS ALONE

Kristina Sisco singing (off-screen):
When this old world starts getting me down
And people are just too much for me to face
I'll climb way up to the top of the stairs
And all my cares just drift out into space

ADAM MUNSON AND ABIGAIL WILLIAMS

>> Adam: You probably want to be alone. I was gonna leave, but then I looked at
you.
>> Abigail: Well, I'm glad you didn't leave.
>> Adam: You sure?
>> Abigail: Yes, I'm sure. Some things are meant to be shared. Look.

Kristina sings:
And there the world below can't bother me

>> Adam: It's a shooting star!
>> Abigail: There's millions of them. It's like magic, isn't it?
>> Adam: Yeah, magic. Aren't we supposed to make a wish now?
>> Abigail: I already did. But don't ask me to tell you what it was about, because
then, it won't come true.
>> Adam: Well, then, it's my turn. Do you realize, Abigail, just how much you've
changed my life?
>> Abigail: You've changed me. You've helped me keep hoping. And that I should
never give up no matter what.
>> Adam: And you have given me something to wish for. I guess that makes us
about even, doesn't it?

Kristina sings: I keep telling you right smack dab

[Abigail and Adam kiss]
>> Abigail: Magic.

Kristina sings: In the middle of town

>> Adam: Magic.

Kristina sings:
I've found a paradise up on the roof

Location: Lakeview Towers Hotel
Scene: Lucy Montgomery’s Room

LUCY MONTGOMERY ALONE

[Lucy’s voice is heard as she is writing in her diary]
>> Lucy: Dear diary - major question to ponder for Valentine's Day. "What is love?"
I know all about sex. I mean, they make us take three classes a week on that. It's
love that has me completely confused. How can you tell if you're in it? Or if
someone's in it with you?
[Romantic music plays.]
Is it the way he'll look at me? The way he'll say my name? Will I know he's the one
the moment my eyes meet his? I know everyone has a soul mate, the person they're
destined to love for life, no matter what. I wonder if I'll ever meet mine? And if
right this very moment, he's wondering if he'll ever meet me? I may not know him
yet, but I already know his heart.

[Lucy dances with an unknown boy]

[Back on the bed]
>> Lucy: We'll find each other soon. And when that happens, I'll never let him go.
